Junior High
Academics
We aim for the classroom to be a place where students are encouraged to do their best in all areas, academically, socially and morally. With clear goals for each grade level, we expect to see continuous growth in all subject areas. The advantage of small class sizes means that if students develop at different levels, the teachers can adapt to their needs.
English
Junior High students will have daily English classes. Through this English program, students will continue to build skills in grammar and writing using a US English curriculum. Students will focus on higher level reading and writing essays, research papers and narrative writing.
Our unique SIS curriculum incorporates a focus on the main elements of language: reading, writing, speaking and listening to ensure all students grow to be effective communicators in English.
